TRANSITIONS
COLLECTIVE EXHIBITION
BRUSSELS
Transition is the process of changing from one state or condition to another. This in-between moment is often very special. The fields in which this notion can apply are numerous: biology, culture, environment, politics, society, climate, psychology, technology, and many more. It can be considered in a global perspective, or related to one’s personal story, being for instance a formal, physical or mental transformation regarding gender, status or age.
For this exhibition and through an international call for entries, PEP invited artists to consider ways in which photography can reflect this topic. A wide variety of perspectives now enter into dialogue in the form of a collective exhibition held at the gallery of «Peinture Fraîche» in Brussels.
